This site is operated by New Native, Inc., a Native American public benefit organization. We use the term Native American because, to us, "Native" is a word that means we did not come from somewhere else. Our origins or roots cannot be traced to any other place (see our philosophy page for a Native view). "American" is an umbrella word borrowed from the colonials to denote the 500 plus Native, or Indigenous, Nations of the North American Continent.

A Unified Native America is our goal through communication, education, information and understanding. These colonists are not going to leave, so maybe we should teach them to see things our way.
